Sweet Treats at TCC

It's time for something sweet at The Card Concept.

I was really inspired by the cupcakes in the inspiration photo and the watercolor look they have. None of my stamp sets were screaming out to me to be used so I pulled out my watercolor markers and just started coloring.

I used a stitched stackable rectangle die from Lawn Fawn to cut the panel down. This is definitely the most used die in my craft room. I use it on almost all of my cards as I love how it finishes off a card.
Next I grabbed some papers that were leftover from another project and were still sitting on my desk which made it easy for me :) A little bit of twine and a simple sentiment stamped in black finished this one off.

Now it's your turn.
Check out what the rest of the DT has created HERE and then have some fun with your card. I'm really curious to see everyone's cards in the gallery for this challenge.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Susan, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you painted this cupcake freehand. Love the colors you used and the way you used patterned paper and twine. Really Super!

Thanks Michelle :) This challenge definitely had me craving sweets!
Susan, this card is so amazing! I love this beautiful, hand-painted, artsy cupcake! That is such a great idea! None of my stamps or dies seemed to working right for me either and I couldn't think of a thing before I came up with doughnuts! ha ha! So I am just LOVING this original idea I think I may have to borrow sometime!
Take Care!
