Celebrating The Card Concepts 100th Challenge

This is the 100th challenge at The Card Concept and we've invited some guest designers to celebrate with us. I've had so much fun doing these challenges. The challenge coordinator ALWAYS comes up with gorgeous inspiration photos to inspire us and this challenge is no exception.

I love pumpkins, especially white ones so I would've thought I'd have some pumpkin stamps in my stash but I don't. (Update: apparently one of the stamp sets I used on this card has a pumpkin but I didn't notice it - I guess it wasn't what I was looking for so I didn't see it- note to self - look closer at what I own haha). I started looking on line for some digital images and then thought why don't I just draw some, it can't be that hard.
It was very easy, and fun and I love how it turned out!

I drew the pumpkins on watercolor paper with a .5 Copic Multiliner keeping all the lines 'rough' looking. I painted them using a variety of Zig Real Brush watercolor markers. I'll list the colors below. Once they were dry, I cut them out and then added them to a piece of designer paper from Stampin' Up! The flowers and the leaves are from a CP Designs set called Blooming Bouquet. The sentiment is from another CP Designs set called Autumn Blessing and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I fussy cut the 'grateful' sentiment and added it with craft foam for some dimension. I added a few pearls to the centers of the flowers.

Check out this photo below.
How does it inspire you?

The fact that you DREW these gorgeous pumpkins makes me love this card even more. If I were you, I'd sketch them again and save them because you could be a stamp designer in the future (unless you already are then, yay!). Such a lovely palette too~ I'm all about this card!!!
