Welcome to Day 2 of a 3 day blog hop celebrating Catherine Poolers Kind of Batty release. You can see everything HERE.
My first card features:
I used Sauna, Mandarin and Peppermint Scrub inks to create a blended sentiment with the Kind word. Isn't it pretty with those little flowers. I used a grey pencil crayon to add some shadow and then stamped the rest of the sentiment with Midnight ink onto white cardstock.
My second card features:
This is such a beautfiul layering leaf stamp set. I used the same colors as above along with Icing on the Cake, Over Coffee, Green Tea and Eucalyptus inks. I stamped the sentiments using Icing on the Cake and then adhered the leaves that I cut out with the coordinating dies. Another very clean and simple card.
My next card features:
This one was a little more involved. Masking off the portion of the Angled Squares Background set that I wanted to use I inked it up using a rainbow of colors and stamped it in a row so that it looks like a V. Next I cut the Three of a Kind dies using white, midnight and vellum cardstock and adhered it to the panel with craft foam. I tucked in a black strip of card stock to ground the sentiment and then added a white embossed sentiment strip.
My last card features:
I went a different way with this last card. I used the Hello Autumn stamp set to make a Christmas wreath. I inked up a greenery stamp for holly with Eucalyptus and Green tea inks and the acorn stamps for the holly berries with Peppermint Scrub and Black Jack. The sentiment is from the Kind of Wonderful stamp set - I heat embossed it with white onto Sand Dunes card stock and the edges are sponged with Over Coffee ink. The panel is cut with a die from the Postage Stamp Dies. A linen thread finishes it off.
It's time to hop along now.
