Grow and Bloom

I've been a little absent lately in blog land but sometimes you just need to take a break and focus on other things.
Today I really felt the urge to play along in a challenge so I went looking and found a sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches to use for inspiration.

It's a really simple sketch with a ton of possibilities. I chose to make a one layer clean and simple card. I stamped the sentiment and the images from the Bloom Where Are You Planted stamp set from The Ink Road using Catherine Pooler inks.  I added lines to frame the images into the rectangle shape and then added some shading with a grey pencil crayon.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Shopping list:
stamps: Bloom Where You Are Planted (The Ink Road)
accessories: grey pencil crayon (Prismacolor), fine tip marker (Bic)
