Tropically Yours SOA is Almost Here

The Tropically Yours Stamp of Approval collection is coming soon!

If you haven't heard of Stamp of Approval before it is a hand-picked collection of exclusive stamping supplies created by Catherine Pooler Designs. These collections contain everything you need to make a ton of cards. And in case you need some inspiration, it even comes with a PDF download of sample cards complete with instructions.

So when can you get yours?
July 18th is the day!
The Tropically Yours collection will be released at 9am on July 18th to the people on the wait list. Not on the wait lest yet? Click HERE to remedy that. Then at 6pm sales will be open to the general public.
BUT if you're a StampNation member you will get early access to purchase on July 17th - just one of the many perks of being a member.

We're celebrating the release with a 3 Days of blog hops. Today is day 1. I'm part of day 2 but I have so many cards to share - I can't seem to stop creating with these supplies. I have a link for Day 1 for you below.

My first card for you today features:
- Stand Tall stamp set
- Stand Tall dies (add on)
- Tropically Yours stamp set
- Coral Cabana ink pad (add on)

This was the first card I made with the collection and I love it! As I sit writing this I realized that I forgot to add the center of the flowers - oops - oh well, I still love it.

I started by stamping one of the flower images from the Tropically Yours set randomly over a piece of white cardstock using Coral Cabana, Tutti Frutti, Tiki Torch, Rockin' Red and Orange Twist. I did some first and second generation stamping. I stamped the leaf images using Garden Party. I stamped the flamingo with midnight ink and colored him in using a blender pen and Coral Cabanda ink and then cut him out with the coordinating die.
I stamped the Aloha directly onto the card panel and added the flamingo and the sentiment with some craft foam for dimension.

My next card features:
- Good Vibes Borders stamp set
- Tropically Yours stamp set
- Tropically Yours dies (add on)
Leave Me In Paradise stamp set
- Leave Me in Paradise dies (add on)

I wanted the look of black and white designer paper so I used one of the images from the Good Vibes Border stamp set and some Midnight ink and made my own. I stamped some leaves from the Leave Me In Paradise stamp set using Green Tea, Eucalyptus and Mandarin Spice inks and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped a couple flowers from the Tropically Yours stamp set using Peppermint Scrub, Sauna and Mandarin Spice inks and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and add the flowers and leaves in a cluster, some directly to the card and some with some craft foam for dimension. I tucked in a couple of thin strips of black cardstock to frame out the sentiment.

My last card for you today features:
- Stand Tall stamp set
- Stand Tall dies (Add on)
- Coral Cabana ink (add on)

I stamped one of the flamingos with Midnight ink repeatedly over the lower portion of a piece of white cardstock using a mask. The image is stamped with Midnight ink also. I stamped one peacock onto a separate piece of cardstock, colored him in with Coral Cabana ink and a blender pen, cut him out with the coordinating die and added him with some craft foam so he appears to be standing tall and looking fabulous as the sentiment says.

As promised, here is the link to Day 1 of the 3 day blog hop.
Catherine is giving away a Stamp of Approval collection to THREE lucky commenters (one each day), so be sure to leave a comment at each stop on the hop.

I hope you enjoyed my cards and come back tomorrow for Day 2 and more inspiration.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
