Welcome to Day 3 of the Sunny With a Side of Sparkle New Release blog hops for Catherine Pooler Designs. Have you been hopping along? I'll post links to day 1 and 2 below so if you've missed any, you can still catch up because Catherine is giving away prizes.
I have 3 more cards for you today.
The first one features the Say it in Diamonds stamp set and
The World Awaits stamp set.
I'm lovin' the Say it in Diamonds stamp set - it's so much fun! For this card I used All That Jazz, Melon Ice, It's a Boy and Lime Rickey inks. I stamped one image using the colored inks and then I used a different image and stamped over top of the colored images with Midnight ink. I loved how it looked so much that I kept the sentiment extremely simple. I embossed two words from The World Awaits stamp set onto black cardstock and added it to the card with craft foam.
That's it! So simple but so cool!
I dare you to make a card you don't like with this set.
My next card features stamps from the Happiness Enclosed stamp set and the Love is in the Air stamp set along with the
Love word die and the Postage Stamp dies.
I started by stamping out a few of the square images from the Happiness Enclosed stamp set with versamark ink. I embossed them with some gorgeous embossing powders that are now in Catherine's store. They are Misty Sky and Turkish Nights by WOW! I just have to say they definitely named their company appropriately because their powders definitely have a WOW factor to them.
Next I cut out the squares leaving a tiny edge of white and adhered them to a piece of Mirrors card stock that I cut with a stitched edge die from the Postage Stamp dies. I layered that onto a piece of Smoke card stock with some craft foam and added that to a white card base. The sentiment die is cut from some more Smoke card stock and the stamping is done with Black Jack ink.
My last card features the Paisley's & Peacocks 6x6 Patterned Paper,
Postage Stamp Dies and a sentiment from the You Did It! stamp set.
I used the Postage Stamp Dies to cut the patterned paper and the white panel. I love how they layer together. The sentiment is embossed with white powder onto black cardstock. I die cut the edge to match with the patterned paper edge.
Now it's time to HOP!
Catherine is giving away prizes to 5 lucky commenters but you have to leave comments at all the stops along the way.
