Sunny With A Side of Sparkle New Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Sunny With a Side of Sparkle Release 3 day blog hops for Catherine Pooler Designs. Besides all the gorgeous products from this release Catherine is also releasing the products from the Love is in the Air SOA collection, some patterned paper and some WOW embossing powders! You can see all the new products HERE.

I have 3 cards that I'm sharing with you today.
The first two features stamps and dies from the Sunny With a Side of Sparkle Release.
The first one features the following:
Say it in Diamonds stamp set,
All That Jazz and Grape Crush inks.

I started by covering the image with Grape Crush ink, adding All That Jazz ink to just the edges and then stamping it onto a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock. I cut off a corner of the panel, sponged the edges with All That Jazz ink and added it to a card base with some craft foam for dimension. I inked up one of the sentiments from the same set in the same way as the panel and stamped it straight onto the card base. I finished it off with a few clear sequins.

My next card features the Starlight Stamps and Dies along with the Paisley & Peacocks 6x6" Patterned Paper.

I used 6 of the 7 different stars in the die set and cut them out with 6 of the 8 different designs of patterned paper. I added two of them to the panel with craft foam and the others directly with adhesive. The little stars and the sentiment are stamped with Black Jack ink.

My last card features stamps from both releases.
The World Awaits stamp set from the Love is in The Air release
and the sentiment is from the Say it in Diamonds stamp set.

I used Bellini, Tiara, Melon Ice and Tutti Frutti inks for the panel. Using one color at a time I smooshed some ink onto my craft sheet, gave it a few spritz of water and then pounced some watercolor paper into it. I dried each layer with my heat tool before moving on to the next one. Next I added the sentiment and flowers with Midnight ink. I used a marker to draw in some stems and then I stamped on some leaves. I added one border stamp to the panel and one to the card base. I used craft foam to add the panel to the card base. I finished it off with some sequins and a little black & white bow made with baker's twine.

Catherine is giving away prizes to 5 lucky commenters but you have to leave comments at all the stops along the way.
So start hoppin'!

I hope you've enjoyed my cards today. I'll be back tomorrow with some more.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
