My card today features the BFF Background stamp, the Wonderful Wildflower stamps and coordinating dies and the A Note of Thanks stamp set along with the new ink colors Grape Crush and Limoncello.

Ink smooshing seems to be my favorite technique right now. It's easy to do and the results are always fun to work with.
For this card I stamped the BFF Background stamp with versamark ink onto watercolor cardstock and heat set it with white embossing powder. I used Grape Crush, Limencello, Be Mine and All That Jazz inks. Working with one ink color at a time I smooshed the ink pad onto my craft mat, gave it a few sprays of water and then pressed the embossed cardstock into the ink in a few spots. I repeated the process with each color using my heat gun to dry the ink between each color. Do you see that beautiful green that the Limencello and All That Jazz inks made?

I stamped the flowers with Grape Crush ink using first and second generation stamping. The sentiment is also Grape Crush.

One of my favorite things about Catherines's releases is that everything works so well together! I used three different stamp sets from the release on this card.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
