The Card Concept #92

It's time for another challenge at The Card Concept.

I kept my card pretty true to the inspiration photo. The red flower against all that white space is CAS perfection so I went with it. I mixed two colors of Ken Oliver's Color Bursts - Alizarin Crimson and Orange - with a little water and then did ink smooshing onto watercolor card stock. After I heat set it I used my MISTI to stamp the flower with Versafine onyx black ink 3x to get a nice crisp dark image and cut it out with the coordinating die.
The vellum piece is torn to give the appearance of curtains. I scored some lines in the card panel to appear like the blinds in the photo.
The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder onto black card stock for some contrast.
