I'm not on today's hop but I do have more cards to share with you. This SOA box is so packed full of goodies that I could make cards for days and still have more ideas. It's that good!
My first card features the Perfect Blend stamps and dies, along with the Punctuated Party stamp set and the Scattered Circles stencil.
1. stamp the mugs with Seafoam & Stone Blue inks doing 2nd generation stamping & the decorative piece in full strength stamping.
2. the coffee in the mug is 2nd generation stamping.
3. add some shading to the edges of the mugs & the coffee using pencil crayons - (crayolas will work just fine here).
4. stamp the coffee pot with Black Jack ink.
5. die cut the mugs & coffee pot out with the coordinating dies.
6. background panel - stamp images from both sets using 2nd generation stamping & one color ink.
7. sponge a few circles from the stencil & the edges with the same color ink & add to a layer of Smoke card stock.
8. stamp the sentiment with versamark onto Smoke card stock, heat set with white embossing powder & cut close to the edges.
9. randomly swipe the Seafoam & Stone Blue ink pads directly to the edges of the card base.
10. add the panel to the base with craft foam. Add the mugs & the coffee pot to the panel with some more craft foam & then add the sentiment pieces directly to the panel.
My next card features the WooHoo stamp set, Hooray die and the Morning Joe Border dies.
1. die cut 'hooray' from Smoke card stock & craft foam. Adhere together & set aside.
2. stamp the party hats with Seafoam & Stone Blue inks & cut out with coordinating die.
3. die cut a piece of white card stock using the zig zag die from the Morning Joe Border dies.
4. adhere the hooray piece to a white card panel cut to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
5. adhere the border piece to the side of the panel
6. adhere one of the hats directly to the panel and two of them with some craft foam.
7. stamp the rest of the sentiment with Black Jack ink.
8. stamp a few stars using all 3 inks.
9. adhere the panel directly to a card base.
