Today I've got The Paisley Peacock stamps and dies as well as the You Did It! stamp set from Catherine Pooler's The Perfect Reason collection to give away! How cool is that?! And all you have to do is leave a comment below before 8am PDT on Monday April 16th and one commenter will be randomly chosen to receive all three!
(Please note that this is for US residents only)
For this first card I used the little images - you know those ones that tend to be forgotten - yeah those ones - from the Perfect Reason stamp set and created a little floral scene around that big, beautiful Congrats sentiment from the You Did It! set. Love that font.
This next one uses the feathers from the Paisley Peacock set and some other little stamps from the You Did It! and the Perfect Reason set to create some of my own paper. I left a section blank for the sentiment and drew a couple of lines with a fine black marker to frame it. I used Catherine's Smoke card stock for the base. I like how all the images work together to create a feeling of celebrating. They make me think of the caps that are tossed into the air at graduation ceremonies so I made this one a grad card.
I did some ink blending using Melon Ice, Garden Party and Aquatini on the feathers from the Paisley Peacock set on this next card. I was trying to figure out what colors to make the body of the peacock and honestly, was stressing out when I glanced at the sentiment from the Perfect Reason set and thought to myself, YES!. So I made it purple! There's coordinating dies for this set so don't stress about fussy cutting them out. I added it to a panel of Smoke cardstock allowing for the tiniest of frames and then added it to the card base.
