It's day 2 of Catherine Pooler's new release. Did you see day 1? You can still hop along HERE and be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win a set of the new Zen Garden inks or a $45 gift certificate to Catherine's store.
I'm not part of today's hop but I couldn't resist making a couple of cards to share with you. You can check out today's hop HERE.
The main features of today's hop are the Love Grows Stamp Set and the Coordinating Dies. It's a beautiful set with some great individual word stamps to build some awesome sentiments.

The main features of today's hop are the Love Grows Stamp Set and the Coordinating Dies. It's a beautiful set with some great individual word stamps to build some awesome sentiments.
Shea Butter, Sugared Lavender, Rose Petals, Stone Blue, Skylight, Seafoam, Spruce and Midnight inks make up the colors on my first card. I used the Love Grows Stamp set for the main part of the card and a couple of little stamps (the row of dots and the splatter of dots) from the Eat, Sleep, Create stamp set which will be featured tomorrow. I stamped it on Premium White Cardstock which you'll find in Catherine's store. (There's a link below for all the products used here today).
My next card uses the Love Grows stamp set from today's hop, the Chevron Cheer stamp set and dies featured in yesterday's hop and the Split Chevron stencil which is also part of the new release.
I sponged the background with Shea Butter, Seafoam, Skylight and Stone Blue inks and used the same inks with the Split Chevron Stencil on the die cut oval from the Chevron Cheer dies. Next I used Black Jack ink for the sentiment, the flowers, leaves and splatters. The center of the flowers are stamped with Shea Butter, Seafoam and Stone Blue. I added it to the card panel with some craft foam, added a few sequins, stamped a few splatters on the card base and called it done.
This last card is a last minute addition. I was reminded this evening that tomorrow (or today actually) is Valentine's Day and I hadn't made my husband a card yet. OOPS. I used a couple of the word sentiments, some Black Jack and Rockin Red inks to make the 'dsp' panel. The top panel was cut from the Chevron Cheer dies. The sentiment is pieced together using a stamp from the Zen Feather stamp set, a word from the Love Grows Stamp set and the You Word Die cut from Mirrors cardstock. The top piece was looking a little plain so I added some of the circle stamps from the Zen Feather Stamp set. All that was left to do was to add it to the card base with some craft foam, write something inside and give it to my husband.
