Getting Ready for 2018

I took the last week off from blogging and crafting to spend time with
family and enjoyed every minute of it!
We were lucky enough to have our daughter and her boyfriend come and
spend the holidays with us. He went home a few days ago but our daughter
stayed a little longer and will be going home tomorrow.
I've thouroughly enjoyed our visit and wish it could be longer.

I think it's safe to say I'm a nerd and proud of it!
I love, love, love planners and pens!
I'm spending some time getting myself organized for 2018 while
the family is watching the Canada vs USA hockey game.

I always felt that I would be so organized if I just found the right planner.
I've tried a few different types of planners and I've come to the realization
that it may not be the planner that's stopping me from being organized
hahaha
but I do believe I've found the one that gets me close to that goal.

I've been using a Leuchtturm 1917 bullet journal since June and I love the flexibility that it gives me. I can switch it up any time I feel that something's
no longer working for me. I keep track of blog posts and design team
committments and challenges. I can track my fitness goals. We've got a
trip booked with our daughters in the spring that I plan on doing a
countdown page for. I add motivational quotes all over the place.

Basically it helps to keep me organized and satisfies both my nerdy side
and my creative side!

A win win in my books!

I'd love to know what you use to keep yourself organized?

Happy Stampin'

I like to use a planner for card challenge closing dates and birthdays so I know when to mail cards. For the past 2 years, CTMH has had one and I really liked it. However, this year they didn't make one, so I got one from Joann's, it's a little bit different than what I used to, but I'm going to make it work!!

I love your comment about it being you and not the planners~that is so me!!! :) I have a calendar that opens like a book and I do what I can. I need those 18month planners since my youngest is still on a school schedule. I also take pics of the month ahead and retake the shot whenever I make changes on my calendar, since I don't carry it around (but I always have my phone photos). It helps when my daughters ask if we are free on a certain day...to just refer to the photo of the calendar. Have a wonderful new year!
