The inspiration photo we have this week at The Card Concept is
GORGEOUS!
Check out that table!
the leaves, gave them a little spritz of water and then stamped them onto
some water color paper holding it still for a few seconds to let the color
set in. Next I painted the background with some more of Catherine's ink and added some shading details.
I love how versatile these inks are!
The sentiment and a few little splatters and this card is done!
Now it's your turn.
Check out the rest of the DT's cards HERE and I look forward to
seeing your card in the gallery.

DeleteWOW!! What a beautiful card!!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteWhat a great technique - it looks very earthy and organic. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ruth :) I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out.
DeleteIt amazes me how a few tiny splatter dots enhances a card. I'm going to have to set up 360 degrees of backdrop to do it, I'm such a klutz, but I'm going to try it, and try not to paint my sewing machine, dining table, and the wall. LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Susan - it amazes me too about the splatters and the difference a few can make to a card.
DeleteGorgeous card Susan! Love the beautiful poinsettias and inky, artsy vibe! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mona :)
