Gerda Steiner's Racoon

This digital image raccoon from Gerda Steiner is so adorable!
And it was FREE!
When you play along in her monthly challenge, she sends you the next
months challenge image for free. How cool is that!

I printed this little guy out on card stock and then again on computer
paper to use as a mask.

I used my Prismacolor pencil crayons to color him in. I sponged some distress ink on for the grass and then added some detail with the pencil crayons.

Next I masked him off and stamped some trees - I'm wishing now that I
added some shadow to them.
And lastly I sponged the sky with some more distress inks and then
stamped the sentiment.

This was a fun one - I enjoyed creating the scene behind him.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
