Congratulations!

We have a challenge over at StampNation right now to use your layering stamps on a card. I bought one thinking it would be soooo easy to do. I can layer them up not too bad but the struggle for me is picking the colors to use.

So I challenged myself.
I got out the Peony Bouquet stamp set and it's coordinating dies and just started stamping. I think I did about 15 flowers - some went straight into the trash before they were finished - not lined up or very wrong color choice - but I did manage to save a few that made it onto cards. I have this one today and another one I'll share with you on Wednesday.

The most important thing I learned while practicing with these stamps is to keep a pad of paper and a pen with you so you can make note of the colors you used.
While I have an idea I don't remember exactly because I tried a few different ones. I will list below what I remember.

The die on the side is a beautiful set called So Detailed from Stampin' Up! Unfortunately it's not in this years catalogue - I'm hoping they bring it back.
If you can find one that someone is selling, it's definitely worth grabbing.

I am playing along with the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches -
(I flipped and rotated the sketch)

Now it's your turn.
Get out your layering stamps and have some fun!

Happy Stampin'
