Let The Heavy Stuff Go

I love this card!!
Is that wrong of me to say?
If it is, I don't care - I love it!

The background is one of many I made the other day by adding ink to an acrylic block, spraying it with water and then stamping it onto watercolor paper.

The trees are done using a technique that I've been wanting to do but
was feeling intimidated by - I felt I didn't know enough about water coloring to try it.
Well let me tell you - it's not hard and it's fun!

A MISTI is essential for this technique

I used 3 of my zig markers - olive green, mid green and gray brown.
I randomly added color onto the stamp, keeping the darker color more to the center and then sprayed the stamp with water. I then pressed the stamp into the watercolor paper and held it for a few seconds.
I used my heat tool to dry it and then repeated the process until I was happy with the look.

It's that easy!

Now to play some more with this technique!

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
