A Little Note to Say...

I was inspired by the current challenge at AAA Cards which is to use the masking technique.  I used one of the many awesome stamp sets from
CAS-ual Fridays called Pretty Posies. LOVE this set and the font for the sentiments is awesome!  I used the Aquatini and Lime Rickey ink colors from Catherine Pooler Designs to color the leaves and the sky.

I didn't have an actual plan in mind when I began stamping and masking - I just kept going until I had a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock covered.
I started coloring the leaves in and liked the look of them against the b&w flowers. That's when I decided to cut the piece like you see and then add it with craft foam to the card base.
A quick sentiment and a few sequins and it's done.

I love how this turned out!

I love how this turned out, Susan! A lot of masking, but totally worth it! That blue background/green leaves really make the flowers pop! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
