What do you do when you can't sleep and it's 2am?
Me? I head to my craft room and play (and watch Netflix).
This time I chose to play with a moose for the current
color challenge at Christmas Card Challenges.
I used some of the new inks from Catherine Pooler Designs. I've been
watching people play with them for a while now and finally bought a set
for myself. And WOW! They are as amazing as what everyone's been saying.
They stamp like a dream!
For this card I decided to try watercoloring with the Flirty Fuchsia color
to make the hat. And yes, you can watercolor with them too!
I used a very watered down black soot Tim Holtz distress ink to watercolor
the moose and shade the pom pom of the hat.
How do these colors inspire you?
I'd love to see how.
Check out how the design team was inspired here and then I hope
to see your card in the gallery.
Happy Stampin'
