Fa la la la la la la la la!
I'm sure you can guess what the theme is this week at
Yes! It's Christmas carolers!
I used one of the adorable singing elves from Mo's Digital images.
This one is called Wynn.
After I colored the image with my prismacolors I thought 'now what?'
I had no idea what to do with the background so I set it aside for
a while. I eventually decided on masking the elf, adding some
heat embossed snowflakes and then sponging on the sky.
I was really pleased with how it turned out but then got stumped as
to how to add the sentiment.
(My creative mojo has been taking some mini vacations lately).
After another day or so I decided to heat emboss the sentiment on gray
cardstock, cut it up into chunks and pop them up on some foam
sheets for dimension.
This card took a while to make but it does put a smile on my face when
I look at it. It reminds me of when my girls were little and would sing
Christmas songs.
Okay, now it's your turn.
Check out the DT's cards here and then I hope to see your
card in the gallery.
