What a week!
I worked at the high school all week - I forgot how mentally
exhausting teenagers can be. I had two stamp classes this week but
aside from that there was no time for stamping for fun - that is until
tonight.
I've been wanting to play along with the Merry Monday Challenge all
week. The theme is retro/vintage - I thought of using these skaters
right away but other than that - no ideas.
It wasn't until I started working on the card that I decided to make it
a shaker card.
I shared this card with my DH and my daughter and it brought smiles
to both their faces when they shook it which in turn brought a smile
to my face. I love the 'falling snow'.
The image reminds me of afternoons skating on the lake where we
used to live - we'd have hours of fun, skating and playing hockey
and then spending time by the fire roasting hot dogs and drinking
hot chocolate. Some great memories!
Happy Stampin'
