This week at Christmas Card Challenges we've got a color challenge
for you. Check 'em out - and the photo with them - love them!
This card did not turn out anything like what I had in mind when I
started out. I'm not even sure I remember what I had in mind.
I used a couple of retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets - Watercolor Winter
and Joy To The World. The snow tips were made with an awesome product
by Stampendous called Chunky White Deep Impressions Embossing Powder.
The trick to making this stick is to use glue - not versamark ink - add the powder and then heat set. Works great everytime!
I wish sparkle would show up better in pics - I need to figure out a way
to photograph sparkle - I used the Spectrum Noir glitter pen to go over the
sentiment and the little black dots were made with black sparkle embossing powder by Ranger. It's just a little sparkle but it's pretty.
I hope you're inspired and want to play along. Check out what the
rest of the design team has for you and hopefully I'll see your
card in the gallery.
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
