Frozen

It's that time again - time for another challenge at
Christmas Card Challenges and this time we have a photo
to inspire you.

My first thought was of the movie Frozen - I don't have little girls -
mine were 19 and 15 when the movie came out - but they made me
watch it anyway.
I didn't want to do a card with Elsa on it so I went with snowflakes as
the focus and kept singing 'Let it Go' the whole time I was making it.

First I stamped the snowflakes with versamark ink onto watercolor paper
and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Next
I used some different shades of blues from Tim Holtz distress inks to
create the snowy sky scene.  After it dried I covered the whole piece
with versamark and sprinkled some dazzling diamonds over top.
Watching that stuff heat set is so cool - it's so sparkly - love it!
I wish it showed better in the photo for you.

I decided to continue with the embossing theme and
embossed the sentiment in white onto black card stock.

Now it's your turn.
How does the photo inspire you?
Check out the rest of the DT's cards here and join in the fun!
