Merry Christmas

I went shopping last weekend and used the gift cards that I
received for Christmas. I love gift cards because it's like
receiving two gifts - the gift of the card and then the gift
of shopping for stamping supplies. YAY!

The challenge at Merry Monday is to use plaid on your card. That's
a hard one for me because I'm not a big fan of plaid which made me
want to do this challenge even more. I've seen some amazing cards
using plaid but when I try to use it I'm never pleased with the result.
I tried a variety of ways to use plaid in larger portions on this card
but in the end I went with just a touch of plaid in the ornament.

I got to use my brand new Merry Ornament die from Poppystamps on
this. It's the first time I've used any of their products and I have to
say I'll be going back for more. I love it!
