A Pastel Christmas

Where has the time gone?
There's only 3 weeks left of summer break and I haven't
accomplished even half of what I wanted to.
I've had 6 weeks off so far and I've spent 4 of them
hanging out with family and I've had a ton of fun!
Now to get to work on my to do list!

First of which was to make a pastel Christmas card
for the challenge at Merry Monday. I started this card
last week but only had snippets of time here and there
to work on it until this morning.

This was a hard one for me as pastel is definitely outside
of my comfort zone. I think of pastels more for baby cards or
for flowery cards and not for Christmas so I was eager to
give this one a try.

I think my favorite part of this card is the background. It's
the water color technique without water that I am loving
right now. My last blog post gives step by step instructions
on how to do this technique. It's super fast and super easy
and gives super results.
Can you tell I think it's super!
