My husband has had the last 2 weeks off so we've been
gallivanting around on day trips and having a lot of fun.
When I got into my craft room the other day I knew exactly
which digital image I wanted to use to make a card for the
decided to stop printing - ugghh so frustrating!
It turns out the refill ink I used made my printer stop working.
I've been using ink refills for years but this was the first time
I'd used it in our new printer and according to the computer
guy - I got lucky that it even worked in my old printer. So
I had to buy another printer (insert sad face) no more ink
refills for me.
This turned out to be a very expensive card!
This card took quite a few twists and turns before I finally
decided on this layout. I originally planned to use some fun
dsp but I changed my mind when I saw how the penguin popped
off the all white background. Also, originally I was going to color
the hat in red and green - more traditional - but in the end I
opted for non-traditional colors. I like the fun whimsy it adds.
Well, that's it for me today. My hubby and I are heading into
the city for some more fun!
Have a great day everyone!
