The school year is winding down - only 2 more weeks and
then it's summer break - YAY!!!! I have a list a mile long
of things I want to do, techniques I want to try, books I
want to read... before I do all that though I'll be down-sizing
my craft room and moving it upstairs and my daughter will
be moving downstairs. It's a big job but I'm really looking
forward to the change.
But first it's time for a Father's Day card. This is for my
Father-in-law - I'm not worried that he'll see it though as I'm
sure he doesn't read my blog.
After I made this card I realized it was perfect for
the challenge at Colour Me...! this week. The challenge
is Colour Me Striking - use the colors night of navy, real red
and a neutral.
I love the layout - I think it's one I'll be using again and again.
This card turned out only slightly different than the plan
that I started out with. I love the colors and the little
anchors and stars.
