In the Spotlight

The other day I saw a technique called 'Spotlight Die-cutting'
and knew I had to give it a try. I thought it would be perfect
for the anything goes challenge at Seize the Birthday

It's so easy and really does pack a punch!
Plus it's fun to do!

Stamp the image twice.
Color them both.
Choose a die cut you want to use.
Position it on one of the images.
Run it through the big shot.
Place the die-cut piece over top of the other image.
Add it with dimensionals,
and you are done!

Here is a close up.

I added some wink-of-stella glitter pen to give it a
bit of sparkle. What birthday doesn't deserve a little glitz?
I love what geometric black and white paper adds to a card.

supplies:
all from Stampin' Up! unless noted
card stock: whisper white, solar white 110lb (Neenah White)
stamp sets: Big Day, Celebrate Today
ink: cherry cobbler, memento black
dsp:Back to Black
big shot: Word Bubbles Framelits, small stitched rectangle stackables (Lawn Fawn)
embellishments: glitter pen (wink of Stella)

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
