It's time for another challenge at Merry Monday and I can't
believe I have the honor of being guest designer again!
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the ladies for giving me
this opportunity.
I knew instantly that I wanted to use this angel, (it's the only one I own) emboss it in gold, and combine it with the Believe greeting from
Casu-ual Fridays.
Casu-ual Fridays.
The rest of the card took a bit of time and a few twist and turns
along the way before I settled on this.
along the way before I settled on this.
For the gold edging I pressed the edges into the versamark pad
and then added gold embossing powder. I know there's a name
for this and it's right on the tip of my tongue but for the life of me I
can't remember it. It'll come to me eventually.
Originally I had a few more layers and embellishments on this but
it took away from the angel so I scaled it back and decided to add a
'pop' of color with the cherry cobbler petals. GILDING - that's what it's
called - the edging - I knew it would come to me.
Make sure you head on over to the Merry Monday blog and check
out all the cards.
