One of my goals this year is to make more birthday cards. To
help me do this I've decided to enter the challenges at
Seize the Birthday. It's an anything goes challenge
that sometimes throws in a twist.
This week there is no twist. I added my own challenge of
making a card that is not CAS.
I love this digital image of a pig with cupcakes
from From the Heart Stamps and the greeting is perfect!
I searched my china cabinet in my dining room - which is
where I've been storing some stamping supplies. I had a partially
used Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit that I searched through
and found a few items that I was eager to use. The polka dot
piece is actually from the brochure - I loved it and had to use it.
I used card bases for the kraft layer and the striped layer.
I embossed the kraft layer with the large dot embossing folder
from Stampin' Up! It doesn't seem to show as well in the picture as
it appears in person.
This was definitely a fun card to make!
Now I want a cupcake :)
