One of THOSE cards...

You know the ones. The ones that don't turn out like
you thought they would so you try something else but
then you don't like that so you try something else again and
then you give up.

That's this card!

I was inspired by a card that a very talented lady by the name
of Maureen made. She's the Queen of CAS and has taught
me so much. Check out her blog Mama Mo Stamps. She's also
part of the design team at StampNation.

My original plan was to make a birthday card with pink
flowers. So in that aspect my card is a success. I tried using
blendabilities to stamp the image but that didn't work so I
colored the flower in.
Blendabilities are not for stamping an image - they are
definitely ONLY for coloring.
There were smudges which I hid with sequins - love that trick!
I don't like how the shadowing turned out either - I need a
lighter grey for that I think.

You're probably asking yourself why am I sharing it with you
if I'm not a fan of the card. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it.
I just don't love it.

I really like this card! It's simple, but the colors and design are very pretty! I love how the black line adds so much personality to the card... I need to use hand-drawn lines more often in my own cards since I like the look so much!
