When I woke up this morning I had an idea for the challenge
at Merry Monday this week. I was almost late for work
because I HAD to make it before I left.
The challenge was to create a card with ornaments using
silver/gray and blue.
I recently received some Tim Holtz ink and was eager to
play with them. I used them with an aqua painter to color in
the ornaments. To make the coordinating card stock I sponged
some ink onto white card stock. I embossed the top of
the ornaments with silver embossing powder to finish them off.
I wish I had a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to brush on the
ornaments - it's going on my next order!
supplies:
all from SU unless noted
card stock: whisper white, basic gray, silver foil
stamp sets: Linear Baubles (Stamp-it Australia),
Jolly & Joyful (L'il Inkers)
Tim Holtz ink: Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass
Stampin' Up ink: memento black
big shot: Pretty Print EF, Jolly die (L'il Inkers)
embellishments: rhinestones, silver 1/8" ribbon,
silver embossing powder
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
