It's Time to Celebrate!

My card today was inspired by a card Catherine Pooler made for
StampNation. Catherine is an amazing lady with an incredible amount of talent
who has created a wonderful site for stampers from all over the world
to visit and share our love of stamping.
If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend it!

The challenge this week at CAS on Sunday is to make a celebration card
using sequins. This card is for my Mom's birthday which is today and
we are driving down to celebrate with her this weekend.
I've had some Tim Holtz distress ink sitting on my desk just waiting
to be played with so I pulled them out for this card.
The sequins are white and clear and add a touch of sparkle to the card which
looks wonderful in person but unfortunately doesn't show as well in the picture.

supplies:
card stock: whisper white
stamp sets: Petite Petals,
The BIg The Bold and The Happy (Winnie and Walter)
ink: memento black
Tim Holtz distress inks: frayed burlap, mustard seed, picked raspberry,
peacock feathers, spiced marmalade, peeled paint
punch: petite petals
embellishments: Tim Holtz layering stencils, basic pearls, sequins

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Your inked background looks awesome. Fantastic effect. The flowers are wonderful pops of color. Pretty card! :-)
Such a pretty card and the little sprinkling of sequins really lifts it to something special.
I know all about trying to photo sequins - tricky, isn't it?
