I'm back with my second post for today.
I really wanted to play along in the Tis' The Season challenge.
The challenge was to use turquoise, black and silver on a Christmas
card. I thought that was so unique that I had to try it. I decided to combine
it with the sketch challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch!
I had some white lace that I really wanted to use but I didn't think it would
stand out on a white card base so I decided to use black. Black is not an
easy color for me to work with and I knew that would be a challenge.
This card took me a few days. I'd play with it then set it aside only to come
back later or the next day and make changes and more changes. This
morning I finally figured it out and am happy with how it turned out. You'd think
with the sketch and the colors already picked for me that I would've had an
easier time with it.
I am happy with how it turned out in the end.
I didn't realize until now that there was an ornament in the inspiration
photo. I used the exact same one on my card.
