Christmas in the Heart & a winner

It's been a few days since I've been able to participate in any challenges but
today I had a day at home to play, finally - YAY!!

I combined two Christmas Challenges with a color challenge for this one.
Tis' The Season - sketch challenge
Merry Monday - theme challenge
Color Throwdown - color challenge

It took me a little while to wrap my head around the colors and how I
could make them work on a Christmas card.
I decided to use the Lullaby DSP from Stampin' Up! as it had the colors
and the piece with the triangles made me think of the Festival of Trees
stamp set.
This is not your typical Christmas card but after I was done I decided I
really liked it!

And now for the winner of the one month StampNation membership from the
Housewarming Party to celebrate Catherine Pooler's new blog is....

One of my favorite things is cards for an occasion made with non-traditional colors so I love that you used these colors for a Christmas card. Well done! I love those trees and the sentiment says it all! Thanks for joining us at Merry Monday!

Talk about inspiration! Thank you, Susan! I love the nontraditional colors for Christmas cards, but I don't know that I would have come up with a design for these colors either. You certainly aced it once you got going!! Just gorgeous!! Hugs, Darnell
