I haven't been around the last week because my creative 'mojo' decided
to take a vacation. I hadn't been in my craft room for the last week and I have
to say I missed it. I had all kinds of ideas but no 'mojo' to create them. It came
back with a vengeance though - the other day I made 7 cards!!
The card I have for you today combines 2 challenges.
The Merry Monday and the Festive Friday challenges.
I wanted to do something a little different for the wreath. I do have a wreath
stamp that I love and use often but I decided not to use it this time. This time
I 'made' my wreath by stamping a small pinecone and greenery stamp a few
times in a circle and then adding some tiny pearls.
The piece I stamped it on I found when I was cleaning my craft room. It's a
piece leftover from a SU kit - sorry, I don't remember which one.
I loved the colors - or lack of colors in the inspiration photo. They are not
something you would think to use on a Christmas card which made it that
much more fun to play with.
I recently ordered 2 stamp sets from Winnie & Walter and when they arrived in the
mail earlier that day I knew that the sentiment set was going to be used on this card.
It's called The Big, The Bold and The Happy - it's awesome!!
It's nice to be back in my craft room again - I've missed it and all of you!
It feels good to create again!!
