Clean & Simple Colour

My card today makes me smile.

I combined this week's Colour Me challenge with a sketch challenge 

at Clean and Simple Stamping

There were two sets of colors to choose from and I went with the one on the

left. Strawberry Slush, Hello Honey and So Saffron. These are not colors I would

normally use as I'm not a big fan of yellow or pink  but I am a big fan of Hello Honey 

which is why I chose to use that particular dsp.

The sketch was another challenge for me as scallops aren't something I use

much of. So since I decided to start this blog to challenge myself to go out of

 my comfort zone I decided these were perfect challenges to combine.

I'm really happy with how this turned out - you may be seeing more scallops,

yellow and pink on my cards in the future :)

supplies

card stock: whisper white

dsp: lullaby 

stamp sets: petite petals, beanstalks (CAS-ual Fridays)

ink: strawberry slush, so saffron

big shot: large scallop edgelit

punch: petite petals

embellishments: whisper white baker's twine, basic pearls
