A Retro Throwdown

I was looking for a challenge to play along with when I came across
Color Throwdown and Retro Sketches. It's been a while since I played
with either of them so I decided to combine the two challenges today.

I love this color combo - it's not one I would have picked on my own which
is one of the reasons I love these color challenges.

When I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do a sponged background. The
rest just grew from there. The world image is stamped in baja breeze - it
looks more grey in the photo. I used an old piece of paper that had a
bunch of circles punched out of it for sponging the background.

Hop on over to  Color Throwdown and  Retro Sketches to see all the
amazing cards created for these challenges. While you're at it, make a
card and enter to play.

supplies:
card stock: night of navy, whisper white
stamp sets: the open sea, teeny tiny wishes
ink: pumpkin pie, baja breeze, night of navy
big shot: circle framelits
embellishments: linen thread, brads (?)

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!!
