A Big Thumbs Up!

I know it's Mother's Day but I was in need of a masculine card.

Usually I don't get more than a 'that's nice' when I show my husband

a card but this card was different. He really liked this one - gave it

a big thumbs up!

I used the masking tape technique for this card - love that one! You 

take strips of masking tape, press it into your ink pad and then press

it onto your card stock, press again without re-inking so you get 

a gradual lightening of color

The trees I stamped a few times without re-inking so as to get a 

look of  field of trees.

This card looks like there is a lot going on but it actually too only

a few minutes to make.

supplies:

card stock: confetti white, night of navy

stamp sets:  walk in the wild, lovely as a tree, really good greetings

ink: marina mist, soft sky, old olive, pear pizzazz, night of navy

big shot: circles framelits
