Shades of Gray

I made this card this morning for a challenge over at
The challenge was to use at least 2 shades of gray to create
a clean and simple card.

I took the two grays that I own - Basic Gray and Smokey Slate,
both from Stampin' Up! and sponged them on to the center of
the card. I used my Basic Gray marker to add a finished edge to
the sponged area.

I found that those two inks when sponged together created a hint of
green to the look of the card so I decided to run some old olive
card stock through my Big Shot using the Little Leaves sizzlet.
I then added three of the lace flowers (retired) from Stampin' Up! I
sure hope they bring those back one day - I love them!!

Lastly, I added some linen thread and stamped a greeting from
CAS-ual Fridays Loving Thoughts stamp set.

supplies:
from Stampin' Up unless noted
card stock: whisper white, old olive
stamp set: Loving Thoughts (CAS-ual Fridays)
ink: basic gray, smokey slate
big shot: little leaves sizzlets
embellishments: linen thread, lace flowers (retired)

Happy Stampin'
and thanks for visiting!
