Merry Monday #100

It took me a while to get to making this card. I really
struggle with pinks. It's way out of my comfort zone.
Merry Monday Christmas Challenge is hosting
the following challenge.

You could choose to use the colors or the sketch or you
could combine them together. Rather than skip the color
part of the challenge because it's out of my comfort zone,
I decided to go for it and combine the challenges.

It took me a while to find any papers that had pinks and
green but I managed to find an old pack of dsp that had
a couple of pieces left I could use.

Nothing about these colors say Christmas to me even though
when I see other people decorate with them or make Christmas
cards with them, I always like the way it looks.  I just never
felt comfortable using them.

I do like how this card turned out though even though I'm
too late to enter the challenge I still thought I would play.
Thank you Merry Monday for the challenge!!

supplies:
card stock: whisper white, melon mambo
dsp: retired (name forgotten)
stamp set: snowflake soiree
ink: melon mambo, pear pizzazz
embellishments: basic pearls, retired ribbons

Happy Stampin'
and thanks for visiting!

I'm too late for this challenge too, but I'm still thinking about using it to create a card. Those colors will certainly be challenging for Christmas, but I'm drawn to the sketch. You did a fabulous job with both!

Kristie, Heather - thank you both! I definitely struggled with this one but I also really enjoyed the challenge. :)
