I've never been one to use a lot of DSP or any for that matter on my cards. I would buy it, choose my favourites and then rarely use it. No matter how I positioned it on the card, it never looked right to me. Well, I have decided to challenge myself to learn how to use it, to become comfortable using it and to share the tips I learn with you.
When I saw this tree on the Sweet Sorbet DSP, I just loved it and thought I have to use that somehow. I wish there was a stamp that matched it. I cut it out and then thought, now what? One of the things I learned from Maureen Merritt of MamaMo Stamps is to use DSP in small doses - a little can go a long way. So taking her advice, I came up with this card. (The crumb cake pieces look darker in the photo - quite a bit darker.)
