A Play Date

I remember when my kids were little and they would
have play dates and they always seemed to enjoy themselves.
Well I scheduled my own play date today
with my stamping supplies and boy oh boy was it fun!

I decided to pull out a couple of kits from Stampin' Up! that I've had
for quite some time. I was all excited when I received them but
for some reason I was never motivated to actually play with them.
Well, today I decided to play with them...my way.
By that I mean, I took the supplies in the kit and used some
stamps, dies and stencils from
with the cards below.

I used the retired Everyday Occasions kit (I did say I've had
these kits for a long time) and the current
Watercolor Wishes kit pictured below. There's a lot of cool
stuff in this kit and the stamp set is great!

I definitely need to schedule some more 'play dates' in my
craft room - that was a lot of fun!

Supplies:
from Stampin' Up! unless noted
card stock: whisper white, basic gray
dsp: Back to Black (retired)
kits: Everyday Occasions (retired) Watercolor Wishes
ink: memento black, basic gray, crumb cake, versa mark
CP Stamp of Approval Box - dies, stamps and stencil
embellishments: lace doily, rhinestones, basic black bakers twine,
     washi tape
stamp set: petite pairs, celebrate today
embossing powder: iridescent ice

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
