Ice Cream Anyone?

Oh how I wish I could eat ice cream! It never bothered me
as a kid, but as an adult - it's a different story! As a kid
it was a fun summertime treat to go to Dairy Queen for an
ice cream after a particularly hot day.

Could you imagine an ice cream cone with 9 scoops on it?

I combined 3 challenges for this card.
Just Add Ink - color challenge
Pile it On - Hot Fun in The Summertime
CAS on Sunday - embossing

I kept the card really simple so as to keep the focus on
the ice cream. I stamped the sentiment with the Tip Top Taupe
color and them heat embossed it with some clear embossing
powder. I love that stuff! It lets you have embossing powder
in all your colors of ink!
I added some wink of stella glitter pen to the ice cream - trying
to make it look cold. It's much more effective in person than
in the pic - I really want some ice cream!

supplies:
from Stampin' Up! unless noted
card stock: whisper white - heavy, tip top taupe, pool party, lost lagoon, soft sky
stamp set: Ice Cream Dream (Simon Says Stamp!),
The Big, The Bold & The Happy (Winnie & Walter)
ink: tip top taupe, pool party, lost lagoon, soft sky
embellishment: clear embossing powder, glitter pen (wink of stella)

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

I was out with my children yesterday and even though it was only about 8 degrees (celcius) we still stopped for an ice cream and I had a double scoop of Apricot....was so good!! This looks fantastic and love how you used the challenge colours. The scoops are perfectly balanced and all that white space is fabulous. So glad you joined us at Just Add Ink this week!

I love that wibbly-wobbly pile of ice-cream. Don't we all wish you could pile it that high! Such a good sense of balance in this card too - it's fantastic.
