Spring Lotus

It's a beautiful spring day here.
The challenge this week at CASology and Just us Girls is Spring.
When I think of spring I think of blue sky, flowers and white sheets
blowing in a breeze on a clothesline.
So I took those three things - blue, flowers and white -
to make this card.

I've had the Lotus Blossom stamp set from Stampin' up for a
while but haven't played with it until now. It took a few tries
to figure out the layering of colors. It's a three step stamp but on
this card I only did the first two steps. I'll definitely be playing
with this stamp some more.

I'm also submitting this to the following birthday challenges

supplies:
all from Stampin' Up! unless noted
card stock: whisper white
stamp set: Celebrate Today, Lotus Blossom
ink: Island Indigo, Wild Wasabi
big shot: lg polka dot EF, small stitched rectangle stackables
embellishments: sequins (dollar store)

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Lovely card Susan! I have the Lotus Blossom stamp too. I did lots of practicing with it before I stamped it on a card. I love how using different colors with this stamp set make each flower different.

I noticed right away that you hadn't 'completed' the flower with the 3rd layer - it looks amazing! I would never have thought of that, but it makes it look less real and more artistic! Clever girl! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!
