Seriously, Happy Birthday!

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and a safe and
Happy New Years spent with family and friends.
We enjoyed the company of my Mom and
one of my brothers as well as our daughter was able to come
home for Christmas, but it all ended too soon.

New Years was very quiet in our house. My hubby and I spent
a quiet evening at home - I actually fell asleep for a few hours
but I did wake up in time for midnight.

My card for you today is a birthday card. I decided to take a
break from all the Christmas challenges and start refilling my supply
with some birthday cards.

This was a fun card to make.
I seriously love that seriously word die from Lil' Inker Designs
I was unsure about doing only black & white but I really liked how it
turned out. The pop of red with the enamel dots gives it the finishing
touch I was looking for.

I want to take this time to wish everyone all the best for 2015!
And to thank you for sticking with me during my first year of
blogging. I hope to be more consistent this year and even
bring you some videos - that's if I can get over my awkwardness
with the camera (haha).

supplies:
card stock: whisper white, basic black (Stampin' Up!)
dsp: back to black (Stampin' Up!)
stamps: The Big, The Bold and The Happy (Winnie & Walter)
ink: memento black
big shot: seriously word die (lil' inkers), balloon dies (lil' inkers)
            lucky stars EF (Stampin' Up!)
embellishments: homemade enamel dots

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Love this card, Susan. I too am always hesitant using only black and white, but the red gives your card just the bit of pop it needs to catch one's eye. Hope you have a Blessed 2015 and look forward to your cards and videos! :)
