Seeing Red

The inspiration photo for this weeks challenge at Festive Friday had
me seeing red! But in a good way.

There's so many ways to be inspired by this photo!

I was inspired by the red and wanted that to be the main color. I used a
little gray to tie in the gray wrapping paper. All the detail in the
design of the papers made me think of the detail in the ornament
bauble from the Ornamental Pine stamp set.

If you look closely you'll see three little snowflakes that I embossed with
clear embossing powder. I also used the clear embossing powder on
the greeting and the ornaments. It gives a little shimmer/shine to the card.
I stamped the ornaments on the card and then again on another piece
of card stock and punched out the round part and popped it up with
dimensionals.

Looking at the picture now, I notice a red ornament in the front. Funny I didn't
notice it before I made the card.

supplies:
card stock: whisper white
stamp set: Ornamental Pine, Endless Wishes, Joy to the World
ink: cherry cobbler, basic gray
clear embossing powder
1 14" circle punch
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Wow, those are beautiful! If they were blue, they would look like Delft china. In red, they're classic and fabulous! So glad you joined us at Festive Friday!
