It's All in the Details

My card today combines a sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch and
a color challenge over at Pals

I stamped the image from the Easter Blossoms stamp set twice with soft suede
and colored both with strawberry slush and pear pizzazz. I punched 3 different
size circles out of one of the images, sponged the edges and then placed them
on top of the other image. I sponged the edges and layered it on a piece of
basic black card stock and then ran it through the big shot using the needlepoint
embossing folder to give a little detail to the edge. (It doesn't show that well in the
photo but it adds a little more detail). All of this is layered on to
pear pizzazz card stock. The birthday banner has a little 'wave' to it - it adds a
little more detail and then I finished it off with some small pearls.

I love the detail that this technique adds to a card. Combined with the wave in the
banner, the EF and the pearls - there's a lot of detail but it's still CAS.

Here is the sketch and the colors.

This is an absolutely brilliant idea with those circles. Love the effect it gives . Hugs Mrs A.
