Fun with Altenew

Good morning everyone!!
The other day I posted about a fantastic style challenge sponsored by Altenew that is happening over at StampNation I was having so much fun with the challenge that I
made a few more cards.
Here's two of them for you.

I used paper from the Fresh Prints DSP pack from Stampin' Up for the background on both of these cards. Using patterned paper is such a quick and easy way to create a fun geometric background.

I was going to do a watercolor effect on this card but changed my mind after I had already
embossed the image so I didn't really need the watercolor paper but I did like the little bit
of texture it added so I kept it.

supplies:
from stampin' up unless noted

1st card:
card stock: whisper white, real red, soft suede
dsp: fresh prints dsp paper pack
stamp set: faux veneer (altenew)

2nd card:
