CAS-ual Fridays Loot!!!

I got some 'happy mail' today!!! A couple of weeks ago I was
lucky enough to have a card I made chosen as winner of a challenge
at StampNation. The challenge was to make a card that screams fun!

Well, the sponsor for the challenge was CAS-ual Fridays and they were
offering up a $25 gift certificate which I did not hesitate to put towards
purchasing some items. The hard part was narrowing down the list of things
that I wanted.  In the end I chose the items below.

I knew I was going to use the Lots of Links stamp set first but I couldn't
decide on which individual stamp to use. Soooo I used them all!
I peeled off the protective sheet and added versamark to the whole thing,
pressed the card stock onto the stamps and then added some embossing
powder. Sorry the photos don't show it that well but it looks awesome in person.

I wanted to highlight that one particular link so I ran the coordinating
die through the big shot with some dsp and then again with coastal cabana
card stock and once more with melon mambo. I used some liquid glue
and pieced it together which was super easy to do!! I adhered this onto
the card base using dimensionals.

I used another Cas-ual Friday stamp set for the greeting and the
inside of the card below. I really like the black and white baker's
twine tied around the banner greeting. I think it coordinates with the
dsp perfectly. I adhered the banner using dimensionals as well.

Even though there's a lot going on with this card, I would still
consider it a CAS card. It came together so quickly - love that
about a card.

supplies:
card stock: whisper white, basic black, melon mambo,
       coastal cabana
dsp: kaleidoscope dsp
stamp set: lots of links, shenanigans (both from CAS-ual Fridays)
ink: melon mambo, coastal cabana, stazon
big shot: Linked Fri Dies (CAS-ual Fridays)
embossing powder : white
embellishments: black & white baker's twine

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
